Hello
I was wondering if there is a possibility to get a better document workflow.
Either integration of google docs (view and edit), webdav support or connection to Dropbox.com / Wuala.com

I know it is an old discussion, but it can be useful to some people to know that integrate a webdav support is quite easy (light modifications in Files plugin). the harder job is to set up the webdav service on your server, but it's pretty well documented all over the web. We have a new "Edit this file" button for all Office documents and it works with IE, Firefox and Chrome browsers.
There's a google docs integration plugin here in the communnity. Also groups are a good tool to document sharing with the people you want.

Yes but the real progress is to have an easy way to edit your Office documents (and MindManager maps) online and not the boring process "download/modify/reupload" with no lock on the server-side file. Webdav is an easy way to do that with a light setup (on dedicated servers however). Associated with the File Tools 1.8 plugin which is perfect for folders, zip upload and drag&drop features and an Ajax upload file field, you have a real intranet full file management.
