Sounds like a cookie issue.
Thanks for your quick reply I will try to remove cookie today.
I tried to resolve cookie issue and checked on different locations but still same problem .please help me.
What is sounds like is IE isn't allowing the cookies to be set and/or read. Without them Elgg doesn't know you are logged in. Have you tried to see if anyone else using IE is having the same problem with your site?
I am running elgg 1.7.1 and I tried it on all browsers, it works well. but some of my users say that when they register and verify email and then login, it says to verify email(also send an verification email again).
But my problem is only for new members...
Hi all, Today I checked it with low speed internet and it is working perfect and after that I checked it on 1.5 MBPS internet then problem accur again. In last I checked it with 10 MBPS speed then again it works fine. I test this thing around 10 times every time same result with same laptop.
@RPGRealms same problem with some other users too.
I checked with safari, opera, google crome and firefox all are working fine with any speed.
can you tell me the complete message you received on IE?
try one thing:
http://yourlink.com/index.php??
place your own address in place of yourlink.com and then try......
Do you have the chrome frame plugin for IE? That causes problems with versions of Elgg before 1.7.2.
