Hello!

I moved with my elgg installation to another server. I copied the database and all server files, and now it works fine on the new server.

With one exception: The latest activity (and friends' latest activity) widget is empty, and no items are added after any action done by me or my friends.

Any ideas? I need an advise.

Hi,

I have a similar problem: the river (activity) widget is empty, but the friends activity widget shows activities... It suddenly disappeared. It looks like I (we) are not the only one who have such a problem: http://groups.google.com/group/elgg-development/browse_thread/thread/2f25f35789c243a4

Perhaps an elgg dev has an idea?

Update:

I didn't change anything expecting some advices here...but now, some actions are displayed in the friends' activity widget: f.e. new friendships! But some other things, like updating the widgets of someone's profile are still not displayed...

I have similar problems, in Elgg 1.5 though. Anyone knwo what this can be? cron-related? I'm not seeing the "Activity"-widget displaying anything, anywhere :(

edit: doh.. I think I had disabled the Activity widget by mistake.. :[ I guess there is no way of getting rid of the "Activity" menu item without disabling everything else related to that plugin..?
