I have added the option to disable sounds site-wide in the administration options. I have also tuned the cookie system a bit, but I still expect there to be bugs with that at the moment.

Thanks for a super plaugin. I am disappointed that this plaugin not support Shoutcast radio. I have a Shoutcast radio station with five channels and interested in using Elgg as a platform. Can the player with the plaugin also support shoutcast? or do I need a new player , if I want to develop a plaugin to handle it?

@gachsaran - The flash player that I have included does not officially support shoutcast streams, and I have absolutely no control over that decision. All I can suggest is that you try one of your streams to see if it will work.

The radio side of things is something that I will be reworking in the future once I have the chat system stable.

@Nikos - Thanks for the confirmation. I think I will restrict the history to the last one or two messages to see if that removes the issue. I don't want to go down a database route as I am a firm believer in user privacy, and don't want messages stored anywhere for any longer than they need be.

I agree for the privacy. Regarding the problem, indeed seems to be related to the amount of messages, and it is pronounced when you are doing multiple chats or you are chatting for a long time and writing lengthy messages. In any case, this is a very nice plug-in and I await tensely for the corrected version. BR

@The Mad Professor: i have had to disable this because it causes problems with some other plugins if they use javascript and this has reared its head on my own site with my new poke plugin developed by vazco

can you please work with vazco to iron out this issue as he has come across the problem with your plugin before?

1. I`m testing it some days ago, the wire from the bottom bar doesn`t works:

     Form is missing __token or __ts fields

2. How can users to hide their connection state?  if are connected and doesn`t want to chat...

it's so easy.. you'll get "About 364 results..."
(2)   that sounds like an *added feature. i suggest you look towards "funding" such development.

@dhrup elgg docs just say that "elgg Form is missing __token or __ts fields" is an error with the plugin. however, i think it is an error with the core, as i have been getting it 99% of the time anyone logs into my site and on every release i have used.. including 1.7.1

@ghumanz - You can't at the moment I'm afraid.

@tobi - Those filters are not in place at the moment, and yes, users can turn chat off if they want to (hint - check the user settings for the bottom bar)

Just installed with elgg 1.7.2 -

the bar appears at the top of the screen, above the 'top bar' and the layout of the bar itself is broken.. seems to be a CSS glitch.
