The Elgg Community

A plugin that allows users to post notifications to the elgg river from external sites using trackbacks. This plugin is based on the older version by Cash Costello.

Additional features added in this version:

Extra language option so posts show as 'External Blog posts' by default.
Security added so each user has unique unguessable trackback url.

1.6 conflict with twitterservice plugin Save twitterservice preferences then post to wire will work one time then twitterservice losses settings and future post are not piped API to twitter unless user goes in and saves preference again. disable trackback plugin and twitterservice does not lose the saved preference setting and wire API will post continually to twitter.

Hmm strange. Am still on 1.5 and these two are not in conflict (I make regular use of both plugins). What changes in 1.6 might cause this conflict? Anyone else with 1.6 able to reproduce this?

I took a quick look through this plugin's code and did not see anything that would conflict with any other plugin. It doesn't save any metadata/settings to a user.

@darmi: There isn't really much to do in a screenshot. This just enables another kind of entry to appear in the activity river. How that looks depends a lot on how your site is configured to display entries from the river.
