The Elgg Community: Custom Modular Index 2.0

@zanzoon- look into the plugin folder.. find the /mod/customindex/views/default/customindex/content.php file and edite this file to remove the add, this is exactly what I did. Then you can add what ever in this page it will show on top of the last activities.

@Sven- you should signout from your account to see it. this page will not show for loged in users.

@ The rest of you - I am not into code so much, so I can not help more, I will only check if I can say something good I will do it. Good luck!

but I really didn't find any problem with this plugin.

1) I have activated this in admin.
2) I have l signed out
3) I go to my profile http://com.saninetz.de/pg/profile/Beutler <-- NOTHING!
OR
4) I go to http://com.saninetz.de <-- NOTHING

So what to do?
Whats wrong?

Please help. Maybe s.o. can sign in and I give him admin rights to see the problem?

hummm..... i don't know what append but try this.

1. elgg version 1.1
2. only work in your index (www.yourelgg.com)
3. puton in botton.
4. check your plugginfolder (that not have a sub folder and then the plugin)
5. try upload again
6. if you have a previus version of custom index, delete the previos version and install this

in the next version
active or desactive modules in the admin panel
configure the options of the modules
write "content" in the admin panel
insert gadgets or public widgets.

otter thisn that develoup in this moment:
- super panel for admin all options in the tiny edithor (no applet TT___TT))
- new versions of XGadget (now soppert otter gadget and have a facebook and gmail gadget in defoult)

I installed it, but I get a blank widget. ...It appears that the person who posted the file is not the one who wrote the module. This is why I am asking you. You would probably have a better idea of why it may not work.

Thank you for the custom index 2.0. I am working on implementing it right now. I wish you success in continuing to enhance this. I was not very impressed with the 1.0 effort. Your 2.0 effort makes a good replacement of the 1.0.

Aha! I had a theory as to why the existing tags were not showing up! They won't show up unless there are MATCHING tags! So, guys, the way to test it out is to make two separate posts with the same exact tags!

thenks, look fine, realy i'm very bussy and i'm not update this module, but whend come elgg 1.5 so much think going to change and this will change too, more options, more modules in your index....

but i need help for very one to make the best custom index.

..... on next episode: i have a metatags <meta> module that make better your seo, going to upload in few weks.
