NDD: 1.6 and 1.5 are quite similar, so it might work, you'll need to put the javascript link back to the 1.5 verson one in actions/mass_mailouts/progressWindow.php:

Change jquery-1.3.2.min.js to jquery-1.2.6.pack.js

I made the change to jquery-1.2.6 and the mail is getting sent fine however utf-8 national characters not displaying correctly

We are using Elgg 1.5 and I have changed the jquery Version as shown above. Mails can be sent, but German Umlauts (öäüß...) cannot be used in combination with TinyMCE. However Mails with Umlauts are sent correctly when TinyMCE is deactivated (not in general but on this page with the "bearbeiten" Button)

Does anyone have an Idea how to fix this?

If got an error in the opend window after pressing "Send E-Mail", there comes the 'actiongatekeeper:tokeninvalid'-Message. Why might that be?

I'm using Elgg 1.6.1 and Firefox 3.5.7

To use this I needed to change the javascript version to match the site's version. Also, if you try to send more than one or two messages without totally reloading the page it fails and the new window displays HTML source, not the progress window.

i have 1.7 uploaded and activated the mod. when i'm sending the messages then its showing in the separate window that the mails are going but its not delivered ultimately. so where does the problem lies???

all notifications and other mails are working correctly and i have php emailer plugin active.
