Summary:

Full description:

Everybody

(Edit your project's description!)

Release notes:

This is my first attempt for building an elgg plugin. It just lists all the elgg users in a site, so that you can navigate the full list of members (it is the same than in the administration panel, but now for all the users).

Compatible Elgg Version: 1

Tested, works good

Thanks

yes, it works! And its great! I was looking for browsing members! May be this plugin can be developed to a propwr BROWSING of members along wiht search, advanced search options! Configurable display of profile fields on listing would be just awesome!

Just installed it, seems to be working pretty good. I only changed the menu text from "Everybody" to "Find Friends"

Thanks for the plugin, any way of implementing on the front page and getting sites/blogs/galleries/etc. listed when the name is clicked?

Is there a way to show the Everybody inside the dashboard?
When I tried to modify the dashboard, ther is no modul like "everybody" inside.
Right now it´s only shown insice the tool menue.

I'm running Release - 1.2, Version - 2008120901of elgg. I added the uncompressed folder to my <root>/mod folder. I activated the plugin. All my pages now show php code in the pages and widget headers. Deactivating the plugin all was well.

Some possible problem with the newer version? It seems to have been working before.

Dave.Arthur 1217 days ago

@dave.arthur - I use it with elgg 1.2 just fine. Maybe in the transfer you ended up with a corrupted file?

I added your plug-in to my experimental Elgg site, OakPages.com.  I added a Spanish translation, and also modifed the English language file a little bit.  The details are on ticket #161 of the bug tracking system:

.. By the way, you sould also consider changing your language strings to start with your plug-in name, as documented in the best practices: http://docs.elgg.org/wiki/Engine/Internationalisation#Adding_language_files_to_plugins_.28and_best_practices.29

For example, instead of "memberlist" use "everybody:memberlist".

Concerning the problem with header "All my pages now show php code in the pages and widget headers",

you need to change the file "start.php "

"<?"  to "<?php"

How do I change the Menu to say "all members" instead of "everybody"?

TahoeBilly 1153 days ago

I think this is a built-in functionality in 1.5 .

Could you make this plugin to show ALL members, even when they diddn't upload a profile icon?

Casandra 1034 days ago

Heh, my profile shows up on the last registered user.

everybody

everybody is not a valid Elgg plugin. Check the Elgg documentation for troubleshooting tips.
