The cWall plugin is an attempt to clone facebook's wall. cWall plugin will track all network activities of users and their friends. It also has the provision to add short messages to the wall(micro blogging). It tracks every activities and provide us with a widget to display it in our dashboard.

I know its the very early stage of its development and we have a lot to go ahead.I expect every one to use this plugin and add your valuable comments.

We have the installation process as usual. Just drop it into the mod directory and enable it from the administrator=>Tools Management.

Hey great!

As I understand it this one is an enhancement of a users activity feed and is supposed to appear in the users profile.

What would be great would be the same for friends, so that I would have a detailed info of what my friends did on my dashboard (like the facebook start page)

other enhancements that would be great:

- integrate the "what are you doing" field with the status plugin and make it commentable

"The Wire" plugin is a commentable version of the Status.

Is it embeddable in the cWall?

But I can't change a status easily from within the dashboard like the status and it is not really commentable, there is no view that shows a wire post grouped with its comments, a reply just appears as another wire post.

I think the wire is more microblogging, status is somehow different ;)

But maybe all these features could be combined into one single plugin...
