We too are interested in knowing how to buy the pro version. It's said we can buy from the socialcommerce site. - What's that? We are interested in knowing if all the features, as explained above, do in fact work - flawlessly? Is there any guarantee? How stable is the developer? Can we see the pro version in operation? Is there a demo? Is there any reviews by users? Any testimonials?

To create a new payment module, you need to create the module and drop it into the modules/checkout directory of the socialcommerce module.

How do you change it from USD (US Dollars) to GBP (British Pounds) ??
The actions from this plugin are not showing up in the river.
Can i confirm new stores before they are viewable by other site users?
An option to charge users to set up a store would be nice. One off fee or Monthly or yearly or quartly fee.

The suggested features are available with PRO version only, they are bot available with GPL.

is there no middle ground? I am very interested in the PRO version, but the only bell and whistle I need is the one additional category for selling material goods... is it possible or is that one of the main selling points of the pro version? (p.s. I don't mean to expect to much, this plugin is awesome so I totally respect pricing it up so high to get these options, just curious if you only release the free one and then the PRO version). Thanks!

The two available options are the GPL and the pro. You need to buy the pro version to have the physical products. We will soon have an intermediate package, that stays between both of these versions, which will cost you $99. That version is still under elgg1.6.1, so we need to upgrade it.

Hey guys played around with your pro version demo looks nice.
Minor bug: On add new currency form
Sign location: Left or Right, setting to right still shows the sign to the left. You can see on that demo site I added the Chinese Yuan currency.
Looking forward to testing more and if all goes well I might just have to purchase this good looking plugin.

hey Lovegin, thanks for the prompt reply. I'm not sure I understood your question correctly, but I've downloaded the 1.7.1 version then install this as the first plugin. Unfortunately still have a blank page at Administration, using Firefox 3.6.4 and Safari 4. Thanks for helping out.

Btw, when I checked out "more info" for ecommerce it said the version was 1.2, is this normal?
Also, when clicked on the link to "Ecommerce", it led to the url "/pg/socialcommerce/admin/all", while the "pg" directory doesn't exist in my elgg site folder. I guess I've config it wrong somewhere?

I am getting the same problem as Ha Le, though if I go to "/pg/socialcommerce/" it works but any link on that page still won't work. Can you tell us how to fix this please.

Has anyone tried Elgg Social Commerce plugin?
It is alot of money, $250, for the plugin, but still intrigued?
Can you tell me of any sites, as example, that are using this already.
Can this be installed on top of Drupal, or is it only for Elgg?

There are over 400 sites that uses elgg social commerce plugin. The application is well tested and runs on many successfull sites.
The current version of the social commerce plugin cannot be added on top of Drupal, its an elgg plugin and works only with elgg.

I think elgg social commerce is a great plugin. I would love to buy the pro version, but before I do, I need to know if I will be able to do the following...
1. Can i remove the payment options and create a new one that's "COD" (Cash on Delivery)?
2. Can i change the currency or add my OWN currency type?
