Linkedin service

Warning: This plugin has't been updated in over 54 years. It may no longer be maintained.

What you can do to help:

A site authentication plugin for LinkedIn which can then be exploited by other plugins. Almost exactly like the twitterservices plugin.

This plugin will authorize your site with Linkedin using OAuth and save the users action token.

Other plugins can then use this plugin to get data from LinkedIn and save it to a user's profile. For instance, Pablo Borbón's Resume plugin (or any other for that matter)  could be extended to allow for importing LinkedIN resume data.

In short, this plugin is comparable to the twitterservices plugin in functionality, but then for LinkedIn.

Part of the OAuth code was adapted from code that came from the Yammer plugin from Jerome Bakker. Therefore, my thanks to him.(http://community.elgg.org/pg/plugins/project/617657/developer/jeabakker/yammer)
