Doesnt seem to be working possibly an Opera Browser issue :(
nope same on I.E. has this been broken in 1.8.1??
@djSupport - it requires configuration as bit.ly needs an API key
I'm using 1.8, configured the api, configured the username and didn work, changed the user name for email and didn work too.
@cash yep I understand that its all done and ready but it still doesnt work...
As an update, Spike Spiegel let me know in a PM that it's working for him.
@djSupport - there is nothing that I can do with the information that you have given me. It's mostly a JavaScript plugin so you could use the JavaScript console of whatever browser you use to see if any errors are being thrown...
can you ask Spike how it went from not working to working??

@djSupport, please notice that it will create a link to a js popup with a text box to enter the long url, This plugin will not auto-short your urls.
P.D. I have it working in my site and it was a 1 minute install + config.
