Works great, but I get a lot of these messages in my (1.8.4) error log:
Deprecated in 1.8: register_elgg_event_handler() was deprecated by elgg_register_event_handler() Called from [#6] /home/site/public_html/mod/sticky_topbar/start.php:5
Cool. Works fine on Elgg 1.8.8 on default theme. On a plugin theme (regardless of position), it seems to have effects (as already mentioned in plugin description) Thanks!

what is this plugin for?
This plugin makes the topbar for Elgg 1.8 stick to the page. So, if you scroll down it's still there.
This plugin works as advertised. Good job.
u are a wonderful person.. U have a bright future.. Keep rocking.. Surely i will test this
Great plugin. I recommend it. The only backdraw is that Logo for 1.8 does not work with it.
@Originalhardy Are you talking about the site logo in elgg 1.8.3 or the plugin Custom Logo for Elgg 1.8

Edit start.php and replace register_elgg_event_handler() with elgg_register_event_handler()
Nice idea, very much needed in my opinion. Also sticky header would be great...I've joined a discussion here http://community.elgg.org/discussion/view/1079398/default-elgg-header-like-fb , hope it helps

Hi @Speedysnail6 , did you consider @Burgs and few others' suggestions here http://community.elgg.org/discussion/view/1079398/default-elgg-header-like-fb ?
I think your plugin would be very much appreciated by us and our users :)
Burgs suggested:
Admin > Apperance > topbar > sticky > Yes/No
Admin > Apperance > topbar > hidden > Yes/No
Admin > Apperance > header > hidden > Yes/No
Admin > Apperance > footer > sticky > Yes/No
Admin > Apperance > footer > hidden > Yes/No
I'd also add Admin > Apperance > header > sticky > Yes/No maybe he forgot :)
Cheers
