Hi, pavithra.

The last release of this compatible out of the box with Elgg 1.5 not Elgg 1.7.X.

Those errors are generated because in previous versions those fields where not mandatory. To fix this you should to look up where the link is generated and call the elgg_add_action_tokens_to_url function to add those parameters.

Actually I'm not working in this plugin so any patch it is welcome

@John: Nice plugin. I had a couple thoughts on this. First one is a link to the edit profile page right next to the progress bar.  I was also thinking of using a lightbox. That would slide out from the side of the page when a users logs in. Reminding them to finish their profile. 

Anyway to get it to show for existing users?

@ClubUgly: Unfortunately, if you are using profile nagger with the 'default widgets' plug-in, the widgets you set as defaults only show up for users who have created their accounts after you have made those changes. This is a flaw in the 'default widgets' plug-in, not my Profile Nagger. One work-around would be to alter the user details php file to include my nagger code in it.

Also, I have a newer version of this plugin here Profile Nagger , so download that one if you haven't already.

We are now running into a slight dilemma

Our "all site polls" page is getting huge. Pagination would help however, for right now I need a quick hack to just display the last 10 or 20 etc polls. We will have probably 200 polls by the end of the month 500 by the end of may. You can see where this is going I don't wont to turn it off As it is such a big hit

Any idea where I can hack this to just show the last 20 polls

@malaga jack: I have posted an update to this plug-in that will address your issues. It introduces paging, limits the polls per page to 10, and fixes some other issues as well. Let me know how it goes.

Also the very top line items are not lined up correctly, I mean the profile "avatar" and "delete"

@elggboy: Judging from your site, which looks good by the way, you are using elgg 1.5. If that is the case, the original version of my plugin, as well as the Social Trak version, are not compatible with the altered river functionality of elgg 1.5.

I just tested the plugin and created an italian translation for it, so I found that the following strings are not in the language file (and so they cannot be translated):

• Responses (the number of responses posted)
  
• Comments (the number of the comments posted)
  
• April 2, 2009 (the date the poll was posted)
• Vote (the button to vote)
• Show results (the link command to open the results pane)

That's all for now...

@alfalive: try re-naming the css classes and modifying the accompanying code in the object view. I named them the same inadvertantly.. it's the classes for the progress bars that are giving you trouble.

I have a confict with the profile_nagger progress bar and the % bar.  The poll plugin will now shift the page elements to the right.  Any idea on fixing would be great as I love the plugin.

@sadistic intent: Since my 'poll' plugin is actually loosely based on the 'blog' plugin, I am not sure how well they will integrate with one another or how an interface to facilitate that would look. I'll give some thought to it, though.

@ash & @elggboy: I've addressed the 'blog' integration issue above. As for group integration, I do have an idea of how that might be possible. It is a reasonably meaty modification, however, so this isn't something I'll be getting to immediately. @everyone: Anyone out there that wants to take that task on, feel free..

@ClubUgly: Unfortunately, if you are using profile nagger with the 'default widgets' plug-in, the widgets you set as defaults only show up for users who have created their accounts after you have made those changes. This is a flaw in the 'default widgets' plug-in, not my Profile Nagger. One work-around would be to alter the user details php file to include my nagger code in it.

Also, I have a newer version of this plugin here Profile Nagger , so download that one if you haven't already.

@John: Nice plugin. I had a couple thoughts on this. First one is a link to the edit profile page right next to the progress bar.  I was also thinking of using a lightbox. That would slide out from the side of the page when a users logs in. Reminding them to finish their profile. 

Anyway to get it to show for existing users?

is there a plugin put there that allows you to rate several categorys?

like:

Color: 5points

Weather: 4points

etc...

Awesome plugin. I have used this plugin to rate the files the user uploads. Is there any way i can display it on my custom_indiex page based on the rating...like a 'featured uploads' kinda thing???...

THX you a lot for your comment ! Actually it has been a long time I stopped the development on my Elgg website.

But as far as I remember, I created lots of modules with widget views. In one widget I took back the object I needed thanks to the rating attribute save in the database and relating to this object.
