+1 for a 1.8.3 version. I believe such (optional) functionality should be available "out of the box" in elgg installations, as an alternative to e-mail validation. There just are so many cases that admin validation is the only way to go.

There's also a more recently updated (though still beta too) version on github. I've been testing it a couple of days now on 1.8.3 without any problems yet. @itstheshawnp by resolution do you mean dimensions or guality of image?

The gitub version I got, following topdog's above link, works like a charm on my 1.8.3 local test site! Only problem in my specific case is that none latin characters (greek lang) of description show all mangled in cool iris slide show...

Looks like an exceptionaly usefull plugin, unfortunately I'm getting a "Fatal error, Redirect could not be issued due to headers already being sent...." when I try the admin settings.I can see the custom index as a long column with all entries...
