Thanks Jeroen! This is what Elgg needs! Elgg is great, but the homepage customisation is minimal. We need something that makes the frontpage looks neat. Something were we can put some genaral information as an introduction. Like a CMS.

Unfortunately, I still have spam. How to get rid of that?

Thanx for your swift supply! So I deactivated the other captcha plugin and installed it again. Again blank. I deleted the mathcaptcha directory and again I copied it to the directory mod. Now I wanted it to move it to the top of the plugin list....

I installed it in the mod directory (running 1.7.7) and I activated it, then the site went blank. I had to remove the matchcapthcha directory. Maybe I have to deactivate the other captcha mod, or change the order?  

It worked for me when I filled in: field name: typefield value: group   ( instead of featured_group and yes) I can drag the fields in the layout screen ONLY when I have the two other option (image and color) enabled

For me it's working. I can  see the combo boxes (1.7.1 and Google Chrome). Two things though: It wil only show (the last?) 10 groups. when saving the settings I get a blanc page. When using the back button, everything seems to be allright
