So I couldn't fix my older Elgg version so I decided to install a new 1.11.0 version, the install completed without a admin profile as I had surely assigned it a username and password during the install steps. My question is: how do I get a admin on the site so I can go to work? Also my 1st log in was from a spammer, how can I stop it's others family members from logging in without validating their profile?

Hey thanks Steve, but I'll need a admin-sign-on to do this task, right? My new Elgg site didn't create a Admin as it should have. How do I create an Admin profile without reinstalling Elgg over again?
You can change a normal user into an admin by updating the column named admin in the elgg_users_entity table of your Elgg database. Change the value from "no" to "yes".
Hello and thanks for your input, now I have an admin log-on
Thanks all, your feedback was excellent, this matter is closed!
